I am a 53 years old, born in Texas and worked for many years on the Nevada Test Site and later changed my job, to work in one of the local mines.
Basically, I am a professional welder but I became a foreman in maintaining the heavy mine equipment, which is a complex job and hard work, because the mines are running 24hrs, 7 days a week.
Most of the welding jobs were outdoors, which can turn into a rough experience by 120°F in the shade or in the wintertime in10°F below zero weather conditions. In the welding process I also inhaled the developing toxic fumes.
I think, the combination of all those situations, started to have an impact on my health.
It was about 18 years ago, when I started to get pain and swelling in my finger joints, tendons and later, my wrist, shoulder and also some of my muscles started to ache.
The physician diagnosed my symptoms as "rheumatoid arthritis", which he explained to me, is like an inflammatory disease of my connective tissues.
This disease started to sneak up on me; starting with mild symptoms, which I didn't pay attention to. In a time period of 2-3 years it was getting so bad, and my joints were so stiff, especially on cold mornings in the wintertime, that I had problems holding my welding torch straight and doing my job right.
Even being tough, the pain became sometimes unbearable.
Living out here in the desert, close to Death Valley, I met one of the biological engineers, who were doing research on antioxidant plant extracts. When I recall it right, we may have met in the year1988/89. We became friends and had many discussions about health issues, etc.
I learned a lot about how illnesses and diseases are connected to our environment and how plants had to evolve and adapt to their environment, over a period of thousands or ten-thousands of years, to survive.
He explained to me, that plants had to develop protective mechanisms, like chemical "protection shields ". I also learned, that those medicinal plants work actually like man- made pharmaceutical factories, with the difference being that, they produce many times more sophisticated, what he called 'phytochemicals'; which nature developed in thousands of years which have no toxic side effects to the plant itself.
That made perfect sense to me, because as a professional welder, I use a mechanical 'protective shield 'to protect my eyes and my face from thermal burns.
That research team showed me, finding those extreme environments, selecting the medicinal plants and then finding how, where and when to extract these 'protection shields ' from those plants without killing them, takes a gifted person with intuition, dedication, knowledge, patience and money.
When I told my friend about my worsening rheumatoid arthritis, he brought several 8-floz amber colored pharma bottles over with a weird looking, smelly brownish liquid and floating little dark chunks of something and said:
"Here I brought you some 'Zamas' juice, a natural extract from a cactus. He said, "It takes about 10 years to grow a foot tall, so that's why we had to develop an extraction process, which doesn't hurt the plant.

I trusted him; this arthritis was making my life already miserable. I was only in the late 30's at that time and it was getting harder and harder to do my job. Just thinking about the outcome in my later age, made me think it would be a very grim future!

My colon must have been congested for several years with at least 10-15 lbs of that sickening smelling, toxic undigested matter. A month later I weighed my self and I had lost 12lbs without changing anything in my lifestyle.
So, the Zamas juice already made a big change in my intestines; when they cleaned my system out!
I had astonishing results on my swollen joints and my muscle and tendon pain.
I remember, it was in the beginning of December, the weather was so extreme, that it could have been in Siberia: dry, cold and windy.

Now I started to work on these freezing cold steel pipes, I recognized that there was barely any stiffness and pain in my joints and the rotary action in my thumbs was nearly back in the state when I first noticed the disruption of my thumb joints.
I couldn't believe it! I was able to finish the whole job in one morning without any interruptions! Normally under these conditions I had to walk back ¼ mile, go inside a building to warm up my hands, especially my fingers, massaging them, etc.
At that moment I knew that the "Cactus- or 'Zamas' juice" as I called it, could be a breakthrough in herbal therapy for people with arthritis!

That week on that job site, was the hardest and toughest test for my rheumatoid arthritis infested joints, tendons and indirectly for the 'Zamas' juice.
