Many chronic physical and mental disorders are
the direct result of an overloaded liver filled with toxic food
fragments and chemicals. The liver and colon are probably the organs
most assaulted by our life-styles of stress, junk foods, drugs and
alcohol, industrial toxins, air pollution, prescription- and/ or
recreational drugs. We need to protect ourselves by helping these
organs with its natural detoxification and regenerative processes.
Good nutrition and BioZama™ ,
containing herbal extracts in a unique Pat. Pending formulation,
provide this support.
Liver congestion contributes to an estimated 20 million victims
of gallstones in the United States each year and a half million
have their gallbladders removed.
In the USA alone, 12 million people are daily affected by irregular
bowel syndromes!
The BioZama™
are super-detox antioxidants in a plant extract formulation! We
have clients; they are strict 'Vegetarian', and thought that the
colon cleansing is not of importance. They changed their mind, after
experiencing impressive improvements to their intestinal tract.
Using them on a regular base, will cleanse your colon, you feel
better, your skin will look better and your all-over health will
improve!
The too high cholesterol level can result in strokes and heart disease,
liver failure, cirrhosis, hepatitis, and to the inflammation of
the gallbladder. Here are some of the warning signs of a congested,
toxic liver:
- Feeling tired after a meal or chronic fatigue.
- Mood swings, including depression or irrational anger flare-ups.
- Digestive symptoms including nausea, foul-smelling gas and bloating,
loss of appetite, constipation and/or diarrhea.
- Sore feet, muscle or joint pain, and wounds slow in healing.
- Skin disorders including acne, boils, psoriasis, eczema, and jaundice.
Weighing about 3 to 5 pounds, the liver is a very large organ in
the human body and requires about 12% of all your body's energy
to perform over 500 different jobs in regulating our metabolism
every day!
Eight of the most important functions our liver has to perform on
a daily basis are:
- In the thyroid, converting the hormone, thyroxine, into tri-iodothyronine
without which energy-depleting hypothyroidism results.
- Creating the Glucose Tolerance Factor (GTF) from glutathione
and chromium, essential for insulin to maintain proper blood sugar
levels.
- Breaking down hormones for elimination from the body after they've
been used (insulin, estrogen, aldosterone, and adrenaline).
- Manufacturing bile salts which a.) dissolve toxins before they
are secreted into the intestines and b.) breaking down fats and
fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E and K) for absorption into the digestive
tract.
- Storing iron and various vitamins (especially A, D and B-12)
- Detoxifying ammonia that occurs as a toxic by-product of fermented
food and protein metabolism in the bowel.
- Breaking down everything toxic or poisonous in the body from
metabolic wastes to insecticides on food, to alcohol and drugs,
to chemicals used in industry and food processing and many more.
Failure to do this important job usually results in death in 12
to 24 hours.
- Regulating blood sugar, this main glucose buffer is the key in
producing, storing and releasing glycogen. Glycogen is the form
able to be stored by the body, as a half-day's supply of sugar.
Let's examine who's at risk for "sub clinical chronic liver dysfunction",
which means the symptoms are too mild to be detected by usual clinical
tests or examinations:
- Heavy coffee drinkers.
- Those who regularly consume "junk foods", especially when fried
in aged and/ or rancid fats or oils, a leading source of lipid peroxides,
which are highly toxic to the liver.
- Persistent alcohol users. The liver changes alcohol into toxic
acetaldehyde.
- Birth control pill users. As the liver breaks down estrogen, the
by-product, estradiol, is produced and can be toxic for persons
deficient in B-vitamins and protein.
- Candida patients: Yeast causes fermentation of dietary sugar,
which turns into the liver-toxic acetaldehyde and makes liver-harmful
ammonia in the gut as well.
- Arthritis sufferers and other chronic aspirin/Tylenol takers (8
to 12 daily). This "safe" drug can damage the liver with prolonged
high dosages.
- Long-term prescription drug users, i.e. Dilantin and Phenobarbitol
(for epilepsy), Nizoral (for Candida) and Chlorpromazine (a tranquilizer)
to name a few.
- Those so-called "recreational" drugs, like Cocaine, Heroin, Methamphetamine,
etc., also risk liver damage. - Farm workers and produce handlers
exposed to pesticides like: DDT, Chlordane, Lindane, Aldrin, 2-4-5-T
and Dioxin, which all tend to collect in our body fat.
- Service and industrial workers, who are customarily exposed to
heavy metals (lead, mercury, and cadmium), radioactive chemicals,
solvents (carbon tetrachloride and TCE), spray paints, and chemicals
in hair salons.
- Auto mechanics and gas station attendants who are exposed to gasoline,
diesel fuel, motor oil, degreasing chemicals, etc., which are absorbed
through the skin or by the inhalation of fumes.
How to detoxify with BioZama™
When planning to rid the liver
of harmful toxins and poisons, three actions of the liver must be
the focal point for support and stimulation:
- Bile production and flow must be encouraged. By supporting this
activity, the "liver congestion" is prevented, the toxin and cholesterol
excretion is increased, and there is a noted decrease in fatty deposits.
A good quality fiber supplement-containing plant fibers would be
good to ensure that bile acids and toxins were bound and eliminated,
thus preventing their re-absorption and the forming of cancer producing
compounds.
- The main liver cells, hepatocytes, must be protected from damage
caused by inflammation and must be stimulated to regenerate and
multiply, thus functioning at optimum.
- The immune system cells should be encouraged to capture and digest
toxins and allergy-causing substances. Adequate amounts of vitamins
and trace minerals should be taken before and during the detoxification
process with the BioZama™ as
well as quality proteins, carbohydrates, and fats to insure optimal
results.
